What is in the name
Three meanings, and all three say the same thing about how we work.
Om
From omni, every direction. We look at more than the request itself: the sector around it, and where the technology is heading. That way you do not end up with something that is in the way a year from now.
Circle
Delivering once and disappearing is a straight line. We work in a circle: build, test, learn, improve, again. You are in that circle, from the first sketch to long after go-live.
Omcirkelen
Dutch for circling something: looking at it from every side before you start. That is the order we work in. First walk around the problem, then build. The name reads in both languages and means the same in each.
Why Omcircle exists
Omcircle was founded in 2024 by Erik-Jan Souhoka. He built his first website at fifteen, and since 2021 he has run his own business, always where development, sales, marketing and technology meet.
In those years he kept seeing smart people lose their week to work a computer does in two seconds. It was never the real work that ate the time, but everything around it.
By now almost everyone uses AI somewhere, yet that repetitive work rarely disappears. A loose tool or a clever chat window helps you with a task; it does not take the task away. The difference only comes when AI sits inside your processes, and working out how to do that is exactly what nobody in a busy company has time for. That is where we are happy to help.
Typing at an AI all day is not automation, it is manual work in a new coat. We make sure a system does that, so you keep your time for the things that really matter.
